Geocache Description:

A trail through a hardwood forest. Part of Old Town Hill, Newbury, MA. Public area maintained by Trustees of Reservations (with several Geocaches within a mile or so on other parts of Old Town Hill).

Gently rolling trail. Well marked with white blazes. When you come to a fork, take it. Several stone walls. Views of a small section of the 20,000 acre salt marsh.

You will pass a mysterious looking stone pit on your right. Perhaps an old cistern? Or?

Geocache is a medium sized box.

Pencil

Sidewalk chalk wrapped in baggie

Parking can be challenging when shoulder of road is wet. A spot on the opposite side of Hay Street in front of another dark green trail barrier works.
