Join me to help clean up and conserve the environment.
Registration (for the Clean up Australia Day component of the day if you wish to participate) and choosing a lucky ticket for FTF will be open from 10:30 am on the decked area at the North East end of the Lake; there will be a clearly visible table and clean up tools set up, this will remain in that area until aprox 12pm.
You are welcome to participate before or after these times I just can't guarantee I'll be at GZ before or after.
I will attempt to have some TB's to swap and discover during this time also.
If you plan to participate in the Clean Up Australia day component of the day Registration is essential for insurance purposes and I would prefer you to register ahead of time online by following this link: Go to http://www.cleanupaustraliaday.org.au/Lakeside+Locals for more information and log as attending on this event page.
Gloves, Bags and Clean up tools will be supplied for both CUAD and CITO participants, however if you have your own please by all bring them as my recourses are limited.
I'm working on some biscuits if that will persuade more people to come and join in. Coffee will be available form the nearby café.
I am also looking for a few members with Kayaks and Canoe's to tackle the lake and surrounding ponds. If you think you maybe able to help with that on the day please send us a message ahead of time so we can allocate you certain areas.
If you are familiar with the area and have a specific part you would like to clean up please message me ahead of time and I can allocate that area to you.
There are many good caches within the Lakeside estate, there are also over a dozen decent caches with a 5km radius, so please come down and get a smiley or two :)
