Geocache Description:

SETE CIDADES LEGEND

The kings of this enchanted land had a beautiful daughter who did not like to feel trapped within the walls of the castle and went every day to the fields. I loved the green and the flowers, birdsong, the sea on the horizon. She walked the villages, the mountains and the valleys.

During one of his walks through the fields met a shepherd, son of simple country people who had been working with their flocks. They talked almost a whole afternoon of the things of life, and saw that they liked the same things. This lengthy conversation came to be born love and started to meet every day, vowing eternal love.

However the princess already with destiny traced by their parents, had marked the marriage with a prince from a neighboring kingdom. When his father learned of these meetings with the pastor, he tried to ban, granting him however a date for final farewell.

When the two lovers met for the last time, they wept so much at his feet that gradually grew two ponds. One of the ponds with blue waters, was born from the tears shed by also blue eyes of the princess. e other, green color, was born from the tears shed also the green eyes of the pastor.

According to legend, the two lovers could not live together forever, but at least the lagoons born of their tears were together forever, never to fall apart.

The Cache

Para chegar á cache tem de estacionar o seu carro e continuar a pé num caminho de terra.Quando estiver perto do GZ terá de subir um pequeno monte de terra e depois seguir até a um conjunto de arvores no cimo do pico.O percurso até ao container permite ver 3 lagoas localizadas nas sete cidades, portanto traga a sua camera!

Contudo o acesso até a cache tambem é possivel com um veiculo off-roader.

Quando abrir a cache tenha cuidado e no fim deixe tudo como encontrou, ajude esta cache a durar.

To reach the cache you must park your car and continue on foot in dirt path.When your near the GZ you will have to climb a small mound of earth and then move to a cluster of trees at the peak of the summit.
On the way to this cache you will be able to see 3 lagons located in sete cidades, so bring a camera!

However access to the cache is also possible with an off-roader vehicle.

When you open the cache be gentle with it and in the end leave it as you found, help this cache last!
