Geocache Description:

The cache is located on the Acker Conservation Land, between a railroad track and the river. This cache is not appropriate for children because of the proximity to the railroad tracks.

The trailhead is 180 yards in from the Depot Street railroad crossing, 50 ft from a vertical marker inscribed with 307 and the trail head is marked with a hiker medallion on an oak tree. The yellow blazed trail is approximately six tenths of a mile long.

The last in the Acker Conservation Land Series this cache is a camo covered small pill bottle, (BYOP), hidden just off the trail in a usual geo-cache hiding place. The cache is at the end of the yellow blazed trail about 0.6 miles from the trailhead. There are two loop paths along the way that should be taken to enjoy the entire experience of this very nice trail system. The trail is relatively flat through its entire length but is not wheelchair or stroller friendly due to the drop down from the railroad grade at the trailhead, multiple bridges and narrow path along the way. I have placed a dollar in the container for the FTF's effort although the views of the brook and the woods are reward enough.
