This cache is a tribute to the fantastic, silly, hilarious, wonderful Tenacious D!
Whether it's their music, movie, or just Jack Black (*drool*) in general, I'm always entertained by them.
I've been walking down this path for years but stopping in the field with the great ocean view and turning back. I always called this path the 'bunny trail' because there are always tons of rabbits out and about at Beavertail and they're adorable! I kept going on this frigid day while looking for a spot that wasn't absolutely covered in thorns to find an awesome abandoned building. I couldn't believe I never went this far down the path before, I love abandoned things! It was at that moment that I knew I had to find a hiding spot right nearby.
Room for log only, and you will probably want to bring a removal tool and pen! Sometimes a pencap will do the trick!
You will find that you can shimmy the cache up and down for easier access because of the way it is attached, but please do not take it off what it is attached to.
This spot was very accessible when placed in February, with only a couple inches of snow on the ground here. It looks like it might become overgrown in the summer.
