Plenty of parking available here so beware of the random motorist who may be parked here taking a rest. Rarely have I spotted anyone parked here but do be mindful. This is famous U.S. Rt 1 where bicyclists from all over the world enjoy trekking this stretch often times originating from the west coast and ending in eastern Maine and vice versa. Long distance cycling at its finest. During the warmer months you will see brightly colored Bicyclists cruising this stretch and the hills along this stretch are known to be brutal. Please enjoy this very important piece of Maine history.
