Geocache Description:

The real back roads of Deerfield! You may be 4 wheeling!

This road is a town, public road. Behind you, towards the South, you will see the railroad, engine house. This is where they fix the locomotives and other various activity. Before we go any further, under no circumstances, go on the railroad property or go near the engine house. We are over 150 feet from there, please do not trespass. This is the Pan Am Southern Railroad Yard, part of Norfolk Southern. In its prime, it was the Boston and Maine Railroad Yard. You may hear railroad cars banging in the backround. That is the hump switcher. That is where there trains are made up for distribution. Once again, please stay on the public road, looking for the cache and enjoy the sounds of the railroad. Also, some nice sights of the Connecticut River as you pass through. Please bring your own pen. Congrats to fkrol on being the FTF!
