Jens: Thanks to TPN&Lisa who have pointed out that this cache is placed in an area that is closed to the public due to danger from unexploded ammunition.

My apologies to everyone who has been led astray into a restricted area due to my ignorance of the restrictions.

This cache is archived, and obviously it will not be recreated. I will take care of removing the physical cache.

Geocache Description:

At 3 m below sea level, this cache is in the wetlands on the lowest lying open land in the Copenhagen Area.

3 m under havoverfladen i et vådområde som udgør det lavestliggende åbne land i Københavnsområdet.

The site is dominated by birds, especially waterfowl, but there are also mosquitoes and cattle. The cache is close to - but does not infringe on - the wildlife sanctuary around Klydesø. Bring binoculars. The cache is a cylindrical 1 liter plastic box.

The best way to get near the cache is by bike; the hike from the nearest motor vehicle parking is 6 km round trip. Rubber boots might be a good idea for the last 50 meters, but you can usually get there without getting your shoes wet, especially from the northwest.

Stedet er præget af fugle, især vadefugle, men der er også myg og kvæg. Cachen ligger lige uden for fuglereservatet ved Klydesø. Husk kikkert. Cachen er en cylinderformet plastbeholder på 1 liter.

Det er bedst at komme på cykel; det bliver 6 km til fods frem og tilbage fra den nærmeste parkeringsplads. Gummistøvler er sikkert en god ide til de sidste 50 m, men man kan normalt komme helt frem uden at få våde sko, især fra nordvest.
