You can find the bird observatory building by the side it is overgrown by reed of the Northern part of Deseda-lake. Seek the black X!
You will find the wooden box among the beams of the bird observatory building - close to a black walnut tree. The wooden box is only one way you can place back it, so watch the original position.
The Deseda reservoir was filled in 1974 by damming up the stream Deseda.
In this way an 8-km long lake of max. 3 metre depth was created in the narrow valley.
