Geocache Description:

The area can be accessed from the Spears Park parking area off of Sanborn Road. Hiking through a network of power lines is required to retrieve this cache.

I had no idea what I would see when I followed this short extension of the power lines.  One short section of the clearing I walked when I hid the cache in March was wet in places and it took some fancy legwork to stay dry.  As an alternative when wet, you could instead walk the woods on either side of the clearing.  Most times of year this area should be dry or frozen.

I can imagine a science fiction movie using the view from the cache to represent some other planet, or perhaps the location of a mad professor's evil project. I didn't get too close to the massive machinery, and I would advise that you do the same. The hide is a bit of a tough one, I think, but will seem obvious once you find it.  It is on the wood's edge, sheltered by a timber guard.  It's winter friendly but well hidden.  A medium sized lock & lock with a little bling for the FTF.   Congratulations to The Lowry 6 for another FTF!
