GrasmereDuo has recently reached the 4,000 geo-finds milestone! CONGRATULATIONS!!! We started our caching careers together in a class held at the Goffstown public library in June of 2011. Little did we know then that the lady sitting behind us in the class would soon become a lifelong friend, and fellow geocacher. Heck, at that time, we left the class thinking that these "geo-people" are totally insane.
We couldn't imagine anyone doing all of this "crazy stuff" with their spare time.
In the meantime though... we have SEEN THE LIGHT
, and just like Mrs.GD2 (and hubby too) we find ourselves caching at every opportunity that we get.
These are great people and fabulous friends!
SO... the
PRIMARY purpose of this cache is to pay our tributes to them for this recent achievement!
HOWEVER, there are a few other purposes for this cache, as follows:
-
To act as a "gas saver cache" for a few of their nearby caches, especially the dog related one up the hill.
-
To place another cache (our first) that can be considered a GRT (Goffstown Rail Trail) cache. We both love the GRT!
-
To give the finders of this one a park and grab opportunity, and ...
-
To give the finders a chuckle to brighten their day(s).
