In a hole in the ground there loved a Hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat; it was a Hobbit-hole and that meant comfort.
Despite not being built into the side of a hill and having smoke churning out of the chimney, this hiding place reminded us of a Hobbit hole. Depending on which way you come into this trail, it is the first or last Geocache you will come across. Enjoy the area and spend some time listening to the sounds of nature.
