You MUST be standing looking at the camera with your GPSr in the air. Pictures of you ON the crossing are NOT acceptable.
This is the site of Abbey Road recording studios. The studios were owned by EMI in the sixties and it was here that the majority of the Beatles recordings were made. Other famous bands have used the studios over the years including Pink Floyd who recorded Dark Side of the Moon there in 1972.
If you go on a Sunday it's fun to watch all the tourists having their pictures taken going over the crossing like the Beatles did on the album cover.
Please read the photo requirements carefully.
Failure to log the correct photo WILL result in your log being deleted.
Only logs with the required photo will be accepted. I know its hard but in order to preserve this webcam cache on the main geocaching site, I can only accept pictures actually taken from the webcam itself.

To claim the cache you will need to stand in front of the web-cam (it's easy to see in the trees outside the studios) and get a friend to log on to http://www.abbeyroad.com/ and grab your image.
If you use an iPhone or iPad, you have to use the Puffin browser and not Safari.
Or, download the free app that lets you watch the webcam 24/9

WOW!!! The webcam is now full speed streaming video. It should be easy to get the right shot now.
Don't forget your camera and a broad tipped marker pen to leave your message on the wall.

I have reports from time to time that the camera is off. I have to say though that it is pretty reliable and is online 99% of the time.
