My plan in this series is to bring you to some of the oldest and most remote geocache places in Berkshire County. All of these spots where once geocaches but have since been archived. I have added a few more caches around them in hopes more people would visit them.
Hootie's Hiding Hole and I have some history. I found this guy while out for some resurrection caching. When I found it the stick that it was attached to the cache broke and it was lost to the bottom of the tree. It's a LONG way down and could not reach it. The CO archived it before I could get back to rescue it. Well I did and it's alive and well. If you look close you may notice it has a new escape hatch in case of emergencies.
