Basic cache for a nice hike at the lake. Note: GPS signals bounce around a bit in Whitehall State Park. Different people have had different readings for this cache, so look around--not just down at the GPS--and use your noggin to think where good hiding places might be.
Whitehall State Park (WHiSPer) is a 2-mile-long by 1-mile-wide reservior that was originally made to serve the city of Boston. It was turned into a State Park in favor of having Boston draw water from the Quabban Reservoir in Western Massachusetts. The trails around the park have beautfiul views year round; few areas lack a water view.
