Geocache Description:

What: Reviewers from around New England (and beyond) will be flying in for a get-together.
When: 12:00 - 1:30 p.m., on Saturday June 11th, 2016.
Where: At the Wakefield Upper Common.

Food: This will be a casual* potluck-styled picnic, so you're encouraged to bring some food to share (and plastic utensils). If you can't bring food, soft drinks will be appreciated as well. The organizers will NOT be providing any seating/eating arrangements, so everybody should bring their own.** I myself am fine just sitting on the grass. The reviewers will select the best dishes,*** whose owners will win geocaching swag and/or collectables from Israel.

Souvenir: Yes, attending this event will also earn you a Get Outdoors Day souvenir!

Over 10 years ago I (jdevor) started my Geocaching career in the Boston area, and had some great times here. As some of you know, I now live in Israel, but I make sure to return and visit my old stomping grounds from time to time. This visit will be a little different, since I now come as a reviewer (mostly focused in Israel). Since I was planning on meeting the NE reviewers here anyways, the idea came up: why not have a public get-together?

...and so we are.

I hope you'll join us for this rare opportunity to meet your NE reviewers (and me), all in one place.

Reviewers attending:
  • Madmin (MA)
  • The Savvy Seanachai (MA)
  • MainePublisher (ME)
  • GeoAwareUSA6 (NE)
  • NawthnRevuah (CT/NE)
  • GeoAwareUSA8 (NE)
  • gpsfun (RI/SC)
  • NHPride (NH/VT)
  • and me, jdevor**** (Israel)

* And by casual, we mean that there will be no means to heat, chill, serve, or place food anywhere but on the ground unless you bring your own tables. No, really - don't worry about bringing food to share with the entire group - we just don't want you to go hungry.

** Seriously, it's just a town common, with no facilities.

*** jdevor will be in charge of this. The rest of the reviewers just like free food (especially chocolate, donuts, and bacon , especially altogether).

**** I case you were wondering, jdevor is not my reviewer name.
