Geocache Description:

Welcome to Jericho Boat Ramp in Scituate, Massachusetts!

A nice, quick Park and Grab with a scenic view.

When you are finding this cache there is a great view of Scituate harbor and the Scituate Lighthouse! You can watch boats as they come in and out of the harbor at the ramp, and the boats in Scituate harbor. Be sure to lots of stealth!

The cache is close to the East corner of the parking but isn't in the parking lot.

This cache has a good view of Scituate harbor, and is easy to walk to on sidewalk from anywhere near the harbor.

Lots of finders find this cache for Scituate doing the MA 361 challenge.
If you want to find another cache very similar, you can check out Scituate Maritime Center. It is located close by on the other side of the harbor.

Please remember, if you pick up anything with the words, "trackable at geocaching.com" be sure to log it with its code. Usually you can not keep it. There has been some missing trackables in this cache's inventory. I think this isn't the best cache to place trackables in because it is a friendly cache for beginners to find, that might not know about trackables.

Congratulations to jonnybgoode9 for the first to find!

UPDATED 5/19/18:
Almost 5 months ago, this cache washed away in a huge blizzard. I looked around the area very well, hoping I would find it since it had a log book of about 100 logs in it. I Temporarily Disabled it, with my log on 1/9/18, "Unfortunatly, the cache was washed away in the flooding. Even the light post is damaged. Blizzard+super moon+high tide=cache washed away! I will have to see if there is going to be construction in the area where it is. Will try to replace soon!" I replaced it with a new container. Today I heard from a brand new geocacher that was walking on the sand spit near 3rd cliff, Rivermoor Beach, about 3 miles away from here. They found the geocache washed up on the beach! The cache was still locked, original log book in it, good shape! It was just a little damp and the cache only had some scratches on it. It was amazing it has been floating around in the ocean and on the beach for that long! I never thought I would see the first cache I ever placed with the log book after the 5 months of it being lost. Many thanks to Leslie, cache name LeslieF311 for putting it back in its location. I am actually leaving the new cache there, and keeping the old one the floated out to sea.
