This cache is not far from the Clarno Unit Fossil Beds, make sure and bring your walking shoes and bottle of water and stop there and explore. There are some great hiking trails around the rocks
This cache is located near the Clarno Unit of the John Day Fossil Beds, many incredible animal and plant fossils have come from here and the rocks are beautiful, be sure to open the photo! Nearby there is a place to pull in and park and picnic and take the walk around the fossil beds where there are several interesting fossils there for you to see - Bring your own pen or pencil just in case
