Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Scituate Stockbridge Mill!

This is the oldest water driven grist mill in the country!

The standing Gristmill here was built by John Stockbridge around 1650. There is a "pocket park" where the cache is that was built with the help of an Eagle Scout project in late 2012.  While you go through the small park, there are several nice signs to check out and learn some things.  The geocache is a small camouflaged plastic container that should not take too long to find.  It can hold a log book, a couple of trading items, and maybe a small trackable.  This area is very nice to come to and learn things about Scituate!

Congratulations to Macfriends for the first to find!
