Igreja Paroquial de Alvelos Multi-cache

Em Alvélos existem vários monumentos históricos associados, essencialmente, com a religião católica. A Igreja Paroquial é, provavelmente, o monumento mais importante da freguesia.

Com o arranjo urbanístico do Adro da Igreja Paroquial foram substituídos os antigos dois coretos pelos Padroeiros da freguesia. O custo dos dois pedestais com duas estátuas foram maioritariamente suportado por donativos da freguesia assim sendo no sentido descendente do adro, do lado direito o padroeiro S. Lourenço e do lado esquerdo a Nossa Senhora das Dores  e desta forma as estátuas pretendem transformarem-se numa referência religiosa da freguesia.

Se há atividade que leva o nome de Alvélos por esse concelho fora e lhe dá alguma notoriedade é a Festa em Honra de Nossa Senhora das Dores.O segredo da longevidade desta festa reside no facto de, cada responsável organizar as festividades consoante as suas posses e dinheiro angariado nos peditórios, não sendo portanto obrigatório fazer melhor ou trazer melhores artistas que em anos anteriores. Este importante facto impede que, à semelhança de outras freguesias, se chegue a patamares que tornam impeditivo a organização da mesma.

In Alvélos there are several historical monuments associated mainly with the Catholic religion. The Parish Church is probably the most important monument of the parish.

With the urban arrangement of the churchyard of the Parish Church the old two gazebos by patrons of the parish were replaced. The cost of the two pedestals with two statues were mainly supported by the parish donations thus downward the churchyard on the right side the patron St. Lawrence and on the left to Our Lady of Sorrows and thus the statues intend to transform into a religious reference of the parish.

If there is activity that takes the name of Alvélos by this municipality out and gives you some notoriety is the Feast of Our Lady of Honor Dores.O secret of longevity of this festival is that, each responsible for organizing the festivities according to their possessions and money raised in peditórios are therefore not required to do better or bring better artists than in previous years. This important fact prevents, like other parishes to reach levels that make it detracts from the organization of the same.
