Geocache Description:

This should be a hopefully simple puzzle cache that will provide you some history of Rochester.

North 41° 4D.[E-1]F[G-6] West 070° 51.H[I-2][J-6]

Rochester was first settled in 163I and was named for Rochester, England, the home of some of its first settlers.

Rochester was founded in 167G and officially incorporated on June D, 168F.

For a time, Rochester was a busy coastal trading site based on its location, but that was all lost when it became landlocked following Marion becoming a separate town in 185E and then Mattapoisett in 185J.

The site of Rochester’s first meeting house is marked by a stone and the old cemetery nearby has gravestones dating back to 170H.

The final cache will be near an interesting site with some old building foundations that you could check out if you'd like. Certitude will provide you information on what the cache is and where it is hidden. Hope you enjoy and learn a thing or two!

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
