Kearsage Trail Cache Traditional Cache

This Cache is hidden on the kearsage mountain trail on the way to the fire lookout tower on the top of the mountain. it is hidden near a false summit (large rock in which you hike on that appears to look like the summit, but is not). no need to bushwack, it is right off the trail.

Park at the trailhead on hurricane mountain road. hike up and find it! This hike has some of the best veiws in new hampshire. you can see down to southern new hampshire and eastern maine, and also the atlantic ocean on a very clear day. the top of the mountain is home to the white mountain national forests only fire lookout tower, which is no longer in service but is open to the public. go in and enjoy the veiw!

the cache is in a green waterproof match container with a logbook. Bring your own pen! it has a geocache label on it.
