The first time I reached this spot I did get the feeling of how natural it is, it almost feels like a scene from a Dickens book with the abandoned ships stuck on the mud.
It's also full of live and it will be different at different stages of the tide, well worth a visit and spending some time around the local area.
Car parking is available just beside although the road just beyond this stage is marked as private so it maybe wiser to park in the free public parking and walk along the footpath.
The footpath back towards Gillingham is really worth doing, highly recommended.
Happy caching!
