Geocache Description:

An easy walk in the King Hill Reservation.

This cache was placed to show cachers the easy way to walk between parking and the base of the former King Ridge ski area. It is placed near the junction of the Hominy Pot and the Lyon Brook Trails. It is near a bridge which was built just this year by science and engineering students at Kearsarge Regional High School. You can be sure of keeping your feet dry when you cross the beautiful new bridge. There is also a bench to sit and enjoy the woods and the brook.

Park at N43°22.994 W071°58.043. From parking, you will begin in the Hominy Pot trail. Soon you will come to a junction with the Lyon Brook Trail. You can take either trail to the cache. The walk is about 0.25 mile each way. The cache was placed with permission from the Sutton Conservation Commission, which manages the land. It is protected by an easement by the Ausbon-Sargent Land Preservation Trust
