Every year, we have a weekend away with a dozen families in Ponkapoag Camp--this was year 8 for us. The kids run around making forts, whitling sticks, paddling canoes, and having great adventures. The adults have fun taking hikes, reading books, and socializing around the campfire.
Over the past few years, it's been a tradition to hide a geocache with the kids. This year was no exception and this was the third cache we've hidden in our series--more to come.
The cache is hidden off the edge of the green dot trail less than 1/4 mile from the day use parking lot at Ponkapoag Camp. Our kids love to climb on rocks, so you'll find this cache was hidden with that in mind. The cache is filled with great treasures for those of you who find it early!
