WCA 7 Pantry Traditional Geocache

This series was originally created after the life changing issues that confronted my very good friend and geocacher Milestone now aka Will on Wheels, who is now wheelchair bound and has gotten me thinking how inaccessible most caches are for him.  With that in mind I have decided to try and find areas that I can place some 1/1 to 1.5/1.5 difficulty and terrain opportunities for both Will and others who still love to be outdoors and still want to geocache.

I started this series idea (WCA = Wheel Chair Accessible) thinking that a local bikeway trail with few terrain level changes, that possibly even with help to get to a couple spots where caches can be reached by a person from a wheelchair could do wonders.  Mind you these caches might seem too simple for most cachers who have the ability to go and do anything, but for those with old or new challenges in their lives, these can be huge finds and a renewed shot of something they still want to enjoy.  So go out and find these, have fun and think about whether they are your friends or just someone who is keeping a chance to stay hopeful about what they can still attempt to do with their lives.  Keep in mind that more than a couple feet off a paved trail can change how and if they can retrieve a cache alone.  Also the kinds of containers and placement of these special caches must be a consideration.  I also tried to find a spot where we were able to leave a 2^nd car so as not to make the trip too overwhelming for time outside.  This series took us about 2 hours from start to finish, at an easy pace.  I hope you enjoy this idea and are able to do something that will make your heart smile as mine did at each cache we took on today.
