Come and join the find of geocachers for some stories, laughs and New Year's Eve fun.
We will gather between 10:00 (am) and 11:00, 31 December 2016.
Why not bring along a picnic basket or cook up a BBQ brekky (first come first serve basis). For those that just roll up, there could be a tempting hot snag & bread to keep the rumblings down. Bring coffee or chai latte if you want.
As if 2016 wasn’t long enough, this year, a leap second will cause the last day of December to be one second longer than normal. So there is no excuses not to party today! The actual leap second is inserted at December 31, 2016, at 23:59:60 UTC.
1. An event will be held at the listed coordinates between 10am and 11am
2. It is an event for the purpose of a geocaching social gathering
3. Any additional activities you choose to do outside of the event times are optional and are not required to claim an attendance for the event
4. Cachers can attend the event at anytime during the listed times at the listed co-ordinates and claim the find
5. Eating, drinking, kayaking, dancing, clock watching and Gregorian Calendar knowledge is optional.
