Liminal space is in places that straddle two things. Doorways are liminal spaces, as a person passes through them to be in the room, but they can't really be called the room. Birth, similarly, is a liminal space, as the child goes through a process of becoming separate from the person who birthed them. I find a lot of power in liminal space- there is both transformation and great possibility. My cache is in a liminal space between the woods of the Mount Holyoke Cross Country trail and the equestrian field, a space of huge and sudden opening.
