Geocache Description:

This cache is fairly easy to get if you follow the closed dirt roads and foot trails. If you take a direct route, expect a steep climb. When I placed the cache I parked at 3480ft then hiked for 45 minutes and placed the cache at 4005ft. The cache is placed in a clump of sagebrush.

I selected this location for my first cache because of the great views the location offers, the close proximity to Boise, the wildlife, and the terrain. While placing the cache my dog and I found chucker, a bunch of dear, and a several varieties ‘tweety’-birds. While hiking to the cache location I was surprised to see how quickly burnt hillsides start recover. When you find the cache you will be treated to great views of the Boise Valley, the Boise foothills and the Owayhee Range. The original contents of the plastic jug that contains the cache are:
  1. The logbook
  2. A deck of playing cards
  3. Mini paddle lock
  4. Petrified Rattlesnake eggs
  5. Canon Bubble jet cartridges BCI-21, and
  6. AA Batteries.
