Varde Fortress Kongsvinger. Short distance from parking at Varde
Fortress. Take the road to Vardåsen.
From 1901 - 1903 the Varde Fortress in Kongsvinger was buildt. The
cache is placed at the North Eastern part of the Varde Fortress
area, about 500 metres from the old comanding centre. The cache is
located in an old defence position, protecting the fortress from
enemies coming from North East.
When you are visiting this area you have a greate view over the
sorounding of Kongsvinger. You can see the Kongsvinger castle, a
part of the old defence system for the region.
The cache:
1 litre glass container, with the Logbook, pencil and pen.
Swap- stuff: Batteries, Multi purpose bottle opener and a letter
opener.
