Geocache Description:

The phrase, SCOUT'S HONOUR, had its origin in the Scout Movement for young people, founded in 1907 by General Baden Powell.

When a Scout pledges, "Scout's Honour," he (or she) is pledging that on the principles of Scouting, he (or she) will keep the promise he (or she) makes. In common terms, it means to make a promise that one intends to keep.

In most situations, the salute is made with the right hand, palm face out, the thumb holding down the little finger, and with the fingertips on the brow of the head.
