A simple driveby cache showing some of the uses of public land.
Where you park, you will notice all the small match like trees regrowing from previous logging operations. You will see wildlife there, but it will mainly be the animals that are common and you probably have them in your backyard.
Another couple of metres down the track you will find the gate with the cache.
The quarry is still used infrequently to provide gravel for local roading operations.
At the time of placement of the cache, a little further down you can get really good views out over the surrounding forests, to the distant mountains.
