Pin - Up Traditional Cache

***The loop trail road has been repaired and is available for access to this cache location, from either direction. The gate should be open, except when there's excessive flooding. The terrain difficulty accounts for the often wet condition of the road, along the way.***

The cache can also be accessed from the river. Facilities are available near this cache .........

The container is a small plastic jar, about 4 inches long. When accessing the cache, don't untie it and please replace it as you found it.

Tour the rest of the park and go check out the artesian wells. Say hello to any rangers you meet.

The area is a floodplain. There is currently no difficulty in getting to the cache (except as mentioned above - you probably can't drive to the immediate area during floods) . After heavy rainfall, the area may be flooded. Look at the photo of the facility ...... it's there for a reason.

Be aware that snakes and other critters inhabit this area. Watch out for them, but don't hurt them -- they live here.

The facility is still standing but has been moved closer to the river. The area has changed over the years, with heavier tree cover that might effect the satellite reception.
