Avalon Island Traditional Cache
scarletsapphire: I'm afraid the time has come to retire the very first geocache that I placed. This cache was relatively low-maintenance for a long time. Unfortunately, it seems that the hiding spot has now been discovered by muggles, resulting in repeated disappearances of the cache. Thanks to all of the geocachers who came out to find it.

Not all islands are surrounded by water. In this case, the island is surrounded by asphalt. This should be a fairly easy park-and-grab in a quiet, residential neighborhood. It should be accessible year-round.
If driving, please park off to the side of the road in a safe location so as not to block any traffic. It's a fairly quiet residential neighborhood, but cars periodically pass by the cache location and people may be out walking the neighborhood. Watch out for muggles, respect the neighborhood, and don't trample the plants and flowers.
