As you enter South Alabama from the west, this is likely the cache that will greet you.
A small, unusual vessel is the container for this cache. Unscrew the cap, as it is glued to be watertight. It may appear to be easy to get to, but the last few feet may get very dense. I placed this cache earlier in 3/2002, but I didn't post it until now. I visited it since then and it was still there safe and sound, so I know this is a good spot. It is a micro cache with only space for pencil, sign-in sheets, and perhaps small treasures. Have fun, and Welcome to Alabama.
