This cache replaces my Snake Bite Kit cache that had several reincarnations during logging and finally disappeared. It is farther off the main trail than the 'Kit and will require bushwhacking, the difficulty of which will increase as there's more growth in the former log yard.
The name and uniqueness of this cache commemorates the favorite on-campus student hang-out of the former Nasson College (closed 1983) known as "The Lion's Den". If you are a former Nasson lion, please note this fun fact in your log. There's no room for swag, and do bring your own pen or pencil, please.
