Geocache Description:

Nothing fancy here -- a simple bison tube marks the entrance to one Sanford/Springvale's new trail projects.  Please bring your own writing instrument.

Open as part of ITS 89 for snowmobiling in the winter and for Springvale's Annual Farm Walk in July, this segment of trail is on its way to becoming a permanent non-motorized trail when snow is gone.  Thanks to the generosity of Hazen Carpenter; and the foresight, planning and work of the Sanford Trails Committee, this section (still a work-in-progress) is another step forward toward creating a loop over Deering Ridge and back to Vigue Road which connects to the main Springvale Rail Trail.

Please note:  This is a NON MOTORIZED TRAIL other than snowmobiles in winter.  Please report any mis-use you note to the cache owner.  As with all the trail caches, bug spray is a must and don't forget your pen or pencil.
