Geocache Description:

Overlooking a manmade body of water, you're looking for a strangely shaped piece of wood.  Please bring your own pen or pencil.

Look, look.  Oh, look.   See what the barn dogs (boxers Gus and Georgie) found in the woods and brought back to us.  It gave us a 'start' until we realized it was another one of nature's sculpture oddities.  Just perfect to turn into a geocache!!

THE ORIGINAL CACHE WAS A PIECE OF WOOD SHAPED LIKE A HORSE'S HOOF. THAT BEING MISSING, THE CACHE IS NOW A DIFFERENT ARTIFACT FROM MY LATE GEO-HORSE.

After finding Farm Trail Turn, enjoy a walk down one of Hazen Carpenter's and the Sanford Trail Committee's newest trails to a scenic spot overlooking his pond/wetlands.  (Alas, the newly reconstructed bridge over the stream was too close for a cache.)  Bug spray is definitely in order!    I'm not sure if this will be an easy or more difficult hide...   Enjoy the hunt and have your pen/pencil handy.
