No one knows how an engine block ended up in Indian Brook Resevoir. We don't know the exact history of this engine block, but the tales involve thin ice and alcohol. Bring your goggles to this geocache as it is approximately 8 feet underwater. Please bring it to the surface before opening. If you are using scuba gear, you are doing something wrong...

I've been looking forward to placing this geocache for a while. The engine block is a unique underwater feature at our favorite swimming hole. We think that an underwater cache is one of a kind and we can't wait for geocachers to step up to the challenge. Recommended June through August unless you're a viking.
Update: Geocache is missing as of 2022, if you spot the engine block consider it tagged. I'll be back in the spring to get another Nalgene back down there. :D
