Geocache Description:

This is the fourth in the Yet Another Park I Didn't Know About series. Geocaching has introduced us to so many new and beautiful parks in the Austin area we wanted to share our experiences with others.

This is a small log only cache in a small park in a northwest neighborhood. The park has a basketball court, many shaded or covered picnic benches, a playground and a covered sandbox for kids. A small creek runs between two ponds at either end of the park and splits the park down the middle. This is basically a park and grab cache, but you may want to bring your children and take advantage of the play areas. You may even want to bring some bread along in case there are ducks in the ponds. Note, the cache is in a fairly open area so you will need to be discreet. NOTE 2/11/2005: I have relocated the cache from its original spot. Please make a note of the updated coordinates and new hint. The cache may not be accessible after a rainstorm, but should survive where it's at.
