Eucalyptus Globulus é a mais comum das espécies de Eucalipto e a mais importante económicamente em Portugal. Originária da Tasmânia e da Austrália foi introduzida no território nacional em meados do seculo XIX. Trata-se de uma árvore de grande porte e de crescimento rápido com grande utlilização na indústria da celulose, medicina, e óleos essencias.

Eucalyptus Globulus
Eucalyptus Globulus is the most common species of Eucalyptus and the most economically important in Portugal. Native to Tasmania and Australia was introduced into the national territory in the mid-nineteenth century. It is a large tree of fast growth with great use in the industry of cellulose, medicine, and essential oils.
