Dark & Gloomy Traditional Geocache

This cache is most of the way up a new trail, on the east side of Whiteface Mt. in Wolfboro. It it a well built trail that zigs and zags up the hill.

The cache hiding spot fits the description. You will have to be brave and reach in. But, you do not have to leave the trail.  In case you are interested, there is a side trail, before you reach this cache, that takes you to the cliff face where there is evidence of climbing (pitons, rope...) Look for a small cairn at the given coordinates. It is only 200 feet to the bottom of the cliff.
