La bataille contre la Maison Tully
Introduction
Les terres de la Maison Tully se situent à l'ouest du continent. Son siège est Vivesaigues, un château qui domine les Conflants à l'ouest d'Harrenhal et au sud des Jumeaux. Le chef de famille est Seigneur de Vivesaigues et Seigneur Suzerain du Trident.
La maison Tully a pris de l'importance pendant les guerres de conquête. Lord Edmyn Tully s'est révolté contre le Roi des Iles et des Conflants, Harren le Noir, pour soutenir la Maison Targaryen. Quand Aegon Targaryen eu conquit le Trône de Fer, il récompensa Edmyn, élevant les Tullys au rang de Seigneur Suzerain du Trident.
Hoster et Brynden Tully, les deux fils d'Edmyn se sont brouillés après que Brynden ait rejeté l'ordre de son frère aîné de se marier avec Bethany Redwyne afin de sceller un pacte avec la Maison Redwyne. Brynden a été surnommé depuis "Le Silure".
Hoster a ensuite épousé Lady Minisa de la Maison Whent et ont eu trois enfants: deux filles Catelyn et Lysa et un fils nommé Edmure.
Plus tard, Catelyn et Lysa, ont épousé Lords Eddard Stark et Jon Arryn lors de la rébellion de Robert, formant une alliance puissante de Grandes Maisons. Ensemble, l'alliance Tully-Stark-Arryn a battu le "Roi Fou" Aerys II et a mis fin à l'emprise des Targaryen sur les sept royaumes.

The battle against House Tully
Introduction
The lands of House Tully are to the west of the continent. Their seat is Riverrun, a castle which dominates The Riverlands, west of Harrenhal and south of Thethe Twins. The head of the house is Lord of Riverrun and Lord Paramount of the Trident.
House Tully rose to prominence during the Wars of Conquest. Lord Edmyn Tully rebelled against the King of the Isles and the Riverlands, Harren the Black, to support the invading House Targaryen. When Aegon Targaryen established his rule from the Iron Throne he rewarded Edmyn, elevating the Tullys to Lords Paramount of the Riverlands.
Hoster Tully and Brynden, Edmyn's two sons fell out after Brynden rejected his older brother's command that he marry Bethany Redwyne in order to seal a marriage pact with House Redwyne. Brynden has since been nicknamed "The Blackfish".
Hoster later married Lady Minisa of House Whent and they produced three children: two daughters Catelyn and Lysa, and a son named Edmure.
Later, Catelyn and Lysa, married Lords Eddard Stark and Jon Arryn during Robert's Rebellion, forming a powerful alliance of Major Houses. Together, the Tully-Stark-Arryn alliance defeated the "Mad King" Aerys II and ended Targaryen rule over the Seven Kingdoms.
