Found at 2.10pm. This has got to be the oldest cache we've managed to find yet. GeoPrincess was out to claim the find on this one but didn't have a happy start after running into a prickly bush followed by being "attacked" by a HUGE bullant. Well we couldn't see her for the dust after that, she made a hasty retreat to the GeoGolf. Luckily she managed to find the cache in between all the calamity so Dad and the Queen enjoyed the views of the "thousand hills", logged our find and sat taking in those spectacular views a little more before it was time to move on.

Took: Singapore $2
Left: 2009 Vic Bushfire Appeal GC

Wow, living history. I'm glad I just got to see this place before leaving Australia. Next milestone: GC40 (Europe's oldest cache, if I'm not mistaken)
There was quite a lot of water in the cache. Logbook is a bit damp, too. I tried to drain out the water as much as possible.

Took TB, left nothing.

Yay... finally got around to nabbing this one. Was heading back to Melb from Mrs Iamapom's granny's 89th birthday party - full up with birthday sponge cake - and did a quick detour via Broadford to grab thid one. My geo-driver Mrs Iamapom stayed in the car, while I tramped around the bush trying to find this. Hunted around (in the 5m zone) but couldn't find it - so worked a bit further out. Photos i'd downloaded to iphone were a nice clue. Found after spotting the usual un-natural hide indication type thing. Lots and lots of stuff in there. Saw some trackable things but didn't take any. TFTC.

Melbourne's first was our main target for today and we had a fun time working our way to it from Bendigo
A great location with spectacular views even with a heat haze and a real buzz just to find the oldest cache in Victoria.
Cheers

Swapped out a geocoin and pin, in a TB, buddah & a four-fun pathtag.

Lovely views, best we have seen after 3 days on HumeHwy. Didn't have instructions to walk down hill, so took a little while wondering why our car was on top of it, but we did get there. Took a car and left a toy, swapped geocoins. TFTC it was great to do one of the first ones.
