This was a gathering of Anchorage/Alaska Geocachers 8/19/02 at 7-9 pm at the above coordinates. Six people showed up.
This cache site will be archived as soon as the ones who attended log their find. The next rendezvous will be around November 23rd and will be located by Chugach.
A couple of Alaska geocachers thought there might be an interest in a gathering of Alaska Geocachers to get to know each other and possibly start up a club or group that gets together up to six times per year.
If you are interested please attend. If you can't but are interested in the results e-mail me and let me know.
We picked a Monday evening because our weekends are usually full and an evening because the days have been hot! We may have a little contest and we ask everyone to bring something from a cache they visited. We are open to suggestions as to any activities. If you are interested I will give a demonstration of how to zero in on the exact coordinates, i.e. what is a second worth? If any others would like to talk about geocaching or GPS please let me know and I'll set up an informal agenda.
