VISEU
Viseu é uma cidade e município da Região Centro de Portugal e a capital do distrito do mesmo nome, com uma população de 99.274 habitantes (2011) e centro da comunidade intermunipical Viseu Dão Lafões, com 267.633 habitantes.
Instalada durante o período da antiga cultura castro ibérica, o território de Viseu foi povoado por uma série de culturas, que incluem os romanos, os suebs, os visigodos e os mouros. Durante a ocupação romana da Ibéria, Viriato, líder rebelde dos Lusitanos, supostamente viveu por algum tempo neste território. Durante a Idade Média, a cidade frequentemente serviu de assento para nobres visigodos (como o rei Roderic) e é considerado um dos prováveis locais de nascimento de Afonso Henriques, primeiro rei de Portugal.
Viseu é um centro económico regional com uma forte indústria do vinho. Da mesma forma, a cidade é um centro cultural, sede do aclamado Museu Grão Vasco, sede da diocese católica romana de Viseu.

COMO LOGAR ESTA CACHE?
Para logar esta cache tem que se dirigir às coordenadas iniciais contar o número de pedras que compõem os seis degraus existentes à volta do cruzeiro e enviar-me as respostas por email.
Além disso terá que tirar uma fotografia virado para a porta da Sé de Viseu onde seja visível a pessoa ou o GPS (sem mostrar os degraus do cruzeiro) e publicá-la juntamente com o seu log, caso contrário o log poderá ser apagado. Quando em grupo mesmo que a imagem seja a mesma, todos deverão colocar a fotografia no log.
Pode fazer o log com a fotografia incluída (não se esqueça de me enviar as respostas). Caso alguma coisa esteja errada eu entro em contacto consigo.

Settled during the period of the early Iberian castro culture, the territory of Viseu was populated by a series of cultures, that include the Romans, Suebs, Visigoths and Moors. During the Roman occupation of Iberia, Viriato, rebel leader of the Lusitanians, is assumed to have lived for a time in territory. During the Middle Ages, the city often served as seat for Visigothic nobles (such as King Roderic), and is considered one of the probable birthplaces of Afonso Henriques, first King of Portugal.
Viseu is a regional economic hub with a strong wine industry. Similarly, the city is a cultural center, home to the nationally acclaimed Grão Vasco Museum, seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Viseu.

HOW TO CLAIM THIS GEOCACHE?
To log in to this geocache you must go to the coordinates count the number stones that compose the six steps around the cruise and send me the answers by email.
You will also need to take a photo facing the door of Viseu Sé with the geocacher or gps (without showing the steps of the cruise) and publish it along with your log, otherwise the log can be deleted. When the geocache is done in group, all the geocacher should place the photo in the log.
You can log with the photo included (don't forget to send me the answers). If something is wrong I will contact you.
