Čumil

Cumil is one of the most known statues in Bratislava and one of the biggest attractions in city centre.

It is bronze statue, which author is Viktor Hulík. This work was ordered by the municipal administration of the city district of Staré Mesto, which mayor at that time was Andrej Ďurkovský. Local government has just completed fourth phase of reconstruction of historical pedestrian zone. It included the reconstruction of Panská Street in the section from Rybárska brána to Strakova Street, Sedlárska Street, Biela Street and the rest of Michalská Street. The original pavement was also modified in the sidestreets of Prepoštská, Baštová, Zámekočská, Klariská, Farská Street and Na vršku. It was installed 26. july 1997 and since then it became the most photographed statue in Bratislava. Located at the crossroads of Laurinska, Panská and Rybárska brána.

From a communal point of view, the Čumil character is a bit superstitious expression of the city's long-standing efforts to revitalize the original urban traditions, urban culture and the environment. He could, in a figurative way, enter the Old Town streets again only when it was possible to create the technical conditions for the revival of the original spirit of Korzo through the extensive wave of reconstructions of historic houses and paving. In this sense, the recessionist character has its own seriousness and respect.

Maybe because of his popularity and the exposed place survived Cumil several serious injuries. He had to overcome three more serious "operations" in the first two years of his life. In particular, the accident caused by the incongruous Italian driver in 1999 seemed dangerous. This is why the city built a traffic sign near Cumil in 2000 with the text: "Man at Work!"

If Cumil is not on the place, take photo with place, where he should be placed. If photographing as a group, everyone needs to attach the photo, even if it will be the same.

Čumil

Der neugierige Beobachter ist eine der bekanntesten Figur in Bratislava und eine der größten Attraktionen im Zentrum der Stadt.

Es ist eine Bronzefigur, deren Autor Viktor Hulík ist. Dieses Werk wurde bei ihm von der Selbstverwaltung des Stadtteiles Altstadt bestellt, deren Bürgermeister in dieser Zeit Andrej Dúrkovský war. Die Selbstverwaltung beendete gerade in dieser Zeit die bedeutende vierte Etappe der Rekonstruktion in der historischen Fußgängerzone. Ein Bestandteil war die Erneuerung der Panská ulica ( Herrenstraße ) im Sektor vom Fischertor ( Rybárská brána ) bis zur Strakavá ulica ( Elsterstraße ), weiter die Sedlárska ulica ( Bauernstraße ), Biela ulica ( Weiße Straße ) und der Rest der Michalská ulica ( Michaelstraße ). Der ursprüngliche Belag wurde restauriert, ebenso in den Seitenstraßen Prepoštska, Baštova, Zámočnícka, Klariska, Farska und Na vrška. Aufgestellt wurde die Figur am 26.Juli 1997 und seit dieser Zeit ist sie eine der am meisten fotografierten Figur in Bratislava. Sie befindet sich auf der Kreuzung der Straßen Laurinská, Panská und Rybárska brána ( Fischertor ).

Vom gesellschaftlichen Standpunkt aus, ist die Figur des Čumil ( neugieriger Beobachter ) ein bedeutender Ausdruck des mehrjährigen Bestrebens der Selbstverwaltung, die Rückführung der ehemaligen Tradition der Stadt, der Kultur und des Milieus. Der Čumil kann, bildlich gesprochen, in die altstädtischen Straßen „ hineinblicken „ bis dann, wenn es gelingt, die technischen Voraussetzungen zu schaffen, den ehemaligen Geist des Korso zu beleben, in einer großen Welle der Rekonstruktion der historischen Gebäude und Pflaster. In diesem Sinne hat diese Figur ihre Bedeutung und Respekt.

Gerade wegen seiner Beliebtheit und der exponierte Platz überlebte der Čumil mehrere bedeutende Unfälle. Schon in den ersten zwei Jahren seines Lebens mußte er drei bedeutende „ Operationen „ überleben. Zuerst ein Unfall, den ein unachtsamer italienischer Fahrer im Jahre 1999 verursachte.Es schaute bedenklich aus. Auch deshalb stellte die Stadt im Jahre 2000 beim Čumil ein Verkehrsschild mit dem Text „ Achtung, auf der Straße wird gearbeitet „ auf.

“ Der Čumil ist eine absolut anonyme Figur, welche ich mir ausgedacht habe, weil ich als Jugendlicher den Korso viel besucht habe. Ich möchte, daß diese Figur die Behaglichkeit, das Lachen und die gute Stimmung ausdrückt, die hier einst geherrscht hat. Ich glaube, daß durch den Čumil dies nach so vielen Jahren wieder so wird." ( V. Hulík ).

Deine Aufgabe ist es, auf dem Korso den Čumil zu finden und sich mit ihm zu fotografieren, oder mit ihm deine GPS. Wenn Cumil nicht auf dem Platz ist, machen Sie ein Foto mit dem Ort, an dem er platziert werden soll. Wenn Sie als Gruppe fotografieren, muss jeder ein Foto anhängen, auch wenn es dasselbe sein soll.

Das Foto lege dem Logo bei. Ich akzeptiere nicht das Foto im Bericht oder im Mail. Das Foto muß im Logo sein, auch wegen der späteren Kontrolle.
Falls etwas nicht in Ordnung ist wird das Logo gelöscht. Kontrolliere, ob dem Logo das Foto des Čumil beiliegt und alles ist ok. Schicke kein Logo ohne Foto, damit es nicht zu unnötigen Konflickten und Unverständigungen kommt.

Čumil

Čumil je jedna z najznámejších sôch v Bratislave a jedna z najväčších atrakcií v centre mesta.

Je to bronzová socha, ktorej autorom je Viktor Hulík. Toto dielo u neho objednala samospráva mestskej časti Staré Mesto, ktorej starostom bol v tom čase Andrej Ďurkovský. Samospráva práve dokončovala kľúčovú štvrtú etapu rekonštrukcie historickej pešej zóny. Jej súčasťou bola obnova Panskej ulice v úseku od Rybárskej brány po Strakovu ulicu, ďalej Sedlárska ulica, Biela ulica a zvyšok Michalskej ulice. Pôvodná dlažba bola upravená aj v bočných uličkách na Prepoštskej, Baštovej, Zámočníckej, Klariskej, Farskej ulici a Na vŕšku. Osadená bola 26. júla 1997 a odvtedy sa stala jednou z najfotografovanejších sôch v Bratislave. Nachádza sa na križovatke ulíc Laurinská, Panská a Rybárska brána.

Z komunálneho hľadiska je postavička Čumila istým nadsadeným vyjadrením niekoľkoročných snáh samosprávy mesta o revitalizáciu pôvodných mestských tradícií, mestskej kultúry a prostredia. Čumil mohol - obrazne povedané - do staromestských ulíc opäť „vkročiť“ až vtedy, keď sa podarilo vytvoriť technické podmienky k oživeniu pôvodného ducha Korza rozsiahlou vlnou rekonštrukcií historických domov a dlažby. V tomto zmysle má inak recesistická postavička svoju vážnosť a rešpekt.

Možno práve pre svoju obľúbenosť a exponované miesto prežil Čumil viacero vážnych úrazov. Už v prvých dvoch rokoch svojho života musel prekonať tri vážnejšie „operácie“. Najmä úraz, ktorý mu spôsobil nepozorný taliansky vodič v roku 1999, vyzeral nebezpečne. Aj preto mesto v roku 2000 osadilo pri Čumilovi polovážnu dopravnú značku s textom: „Pozor, na ceste sa pracuje!“ (Man at Work!)

“Čumil je absolútne anonymná figúrka, ktorú som vymyslel, pretože ako teenager som veľmi často navštevoval korzo a chcel som, aby táto figúrka bola vyjadrením pohody, úsmevu a dobrej nálady, ktoré tu kedysi panovali. Verím, že aj zásluhou Čumila sa sem opäť po rokoch vrátili.” V. Hulík

Tvojou úlohou je nájsť na Korze Čumila a odfotiť sa s ním...alebo s ním odfoť svoju GPS. Ak Čumil nie je na svojom mieste, odfoť sa s miestom, kde obvykle býva umiestnený. Ak sa fotografujete ako skupina, každý musí priložiť fotku, aj keby mala byť tá istá.

Fotky prikladajte k logu. Neakceptujem fotky do správy alebo do mailu. Fotka musí byť v logu, aj kvôli spätnej kontrole.
Ak niečo nebude v poriadku, log mažem. Uisti sa, že si k logu priložil fotku s Čumilom a všetko by malo byť ok. Nelogujte bez fotky, aby sa predišlo zbytočným konfliktom a nedorozumeniam.
