A virtual cache at an interesting architectural feature of Venice, often missed.
This cache was originally going to be part of my Death in Venice series but I couldnt fit it into the theme. It is an intriguing staircase, often featured in guides but frequently missed by visitors as it is quite hard to find. It is also quite hard to pick up GPS locations in the twisting, narrow Venetian streets but maybe making this place a virtual cache will help.
It can only be climbed in daylight hours but this is good idea anyhow as the views are terrific.
To claim it as a virtual cache email me the number of arches in the top cuploa. You can only see this while at the top. Alternatively send a photo of the view with your GPS in it. Apparently this site is now only open at the weekends (Thanks to rhubarb and custard for the update) Therefore a picture in front of it is more than acceptable! The view from the top is worth it if you can get there though.
