Geocache Description:

The Pappas Recreational Complex is a Town of Auburn recreational area consisting of several baseball fields, softball fields, soccer fields, a playground, a snack bar and soon to contain a dog park (or so I hear).

The trail head begins near the snack bar parking area and meanders for about two miles (1 in, 1 out) through woods and fields. Keep a careful watch for signs of gnomes, sprites, trolls and other mythical woodland creatures. Also, try to notice the bat boxes along the way.

The trail was just created this year (2017), but it already has some nice improvements to make the hike easier.  But its still a little bit of a workout (mostly down hill on the way in, uphill on the way out).

The cache container is currently a Tupperware container that should protect the contents from the elements, but we will be frequent visitors to the area to make sure the cache is properly protected against the weather.  If necessary, we will be packing in an ammo box to replace the Tupperware.
