To get to the highland part of Hestur, follow the path that leads upwards from the coordinates given by the trailhead (path up) waypoint. Once you have made your way up, you are rewarded by stunning views over the lakes and the neighbouring islands!
The cache container is a lock & lock box. The box contains a petling container, which contains the logbook to give an extra level of protection from wetness. Please keep the logbook in the petling container, even though the lock & lock box should stay dry.
